Cuba, the economy and China: IISC seminars at the University of Buckingham
The IISC, in collaboration with the Humanities Research Institute at the University of Buckingham in the UK, continue their research seminars this Spring with two international speakers.
Thursday 29 April
Professor Al Campbell of the University of Utah, deputy editor of the International Journal of Cuban Studies (IJCS) and editor of the book Cuban Economists on the Cuban Economy will talk on the
‘The Cuban economic model’
Wednesday 12 May
Dr George Lambie of the University of Hong King and a board member of the IJCS will deliver a seminar entitled:
‘The New Empire: China’s Belt and Road Initiative’
